The Admissions Decision Process

  • Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis: We review applications as they come in. (Exception: Speech Language Pathology and Audiology)
  • You’ll receive a letter from us notifying you of the decision.
  • If you're accepted, it's important that you send your tuition deposit of $150 by May 1. This secures your place in the class entering for the academic year beginning in the fall.
  • Once we receive your deposit, we'll send you a letter with Orientation and housing  information.
  • As space permits, IUP will continue to accommodate students after May 1.

Why I Love IUP

“Jacque in the Upward Bound office helped me a lot in applying for the Dell scholarship. She made phone calls to my high school and wrote a recommendation. I'm really grateful.”
