All applicants to a graduate program at IUP must submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
Your graduate education builds on any previous education you have received. Your classes will challenge you to improve academically and personally, and that can only be the case if you have a solid educational foundation coming into one of our programs.
To confirm that you have acquired that foundation, and to ensure that you will fit well into your program of choice, we require official transcripts from all higher education institutions you have attended in the past.
These transcripts must be sealed by the registrar of your previous institution, and remain sealed until their arrival at IUP’s Admissions Office to ensure their validity. You may either include your transcript(s) with your application material, of have
the registrar of your previous institution(s) send it directly to IUP’s Admissions Office at the address below.
IUP undergraduate students and alumni are not required to submit official transcripts for degree(s) earned at IUP.
Per the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, transcripts received at IUP from other institutions cannot be released.
