IUP faculty and teaching associates attended this
Center for Teaching Excellence Saturday Workshop on February 4, 2017, presented by Karen Kurotsuchi Inkelas.
Karen Kurotsuchi Inkelas is an associate professor in the Curry
School of Education at the University of Virginia and was the
principal investigator for the National Study of Living-Learning
Programs from 2001 to 2011. Inkelas not only studies
living-learning programs, but has worked directly with them while a
faculty member at the University of Maryland, having served as
faculty director of the Advocates for Children living-learning
program within the College Park Scholars. She has published
numerous articles on living-learning programs and is the lead author
of a forthcoming book on living-learning programs.
