Justin Brown, an IUP alumnus, will be hosting “Ugh!?! Not Another Diversity Presentation” via Zoom on Wednesday, September 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for undergraduate and graduate student leaders. As an IUP alumnus, Justin has a unique perspective on what life as an IUP student is like, what has changed since he has been on campus, and the work we still have left to do.

Justin has over 10 years of experience leading diversity trainings and is well-versed in virtual trainings—which works perfectly for times of social distancing. According to Justin, this training will shift your paradigms regarding racism, prejudices, stereotypes, women's issues, differences in gender, inequity, intersectionality, and media. This fully engaging and interactive session is facilitated using games, activities, role-plays, and social experiments that will help challenge and develop the participant's mind and soul. Nothing is taboo. It pulls no punches and puts anything and everything on the table. Finally, this session will address anyone who desires to experience life through the eyes of others.

The Zoom link and login details will be sent out to participants the week of the training. Fill out the RSVP form to register for the event.

These trainings are sponsored by the President's Commission on Inclusion and Diversity.
