The Center for Multicultural Student Leadership and Engagement is sponsoring a number of awards to celebrate the achievements of student leaders and organizations within the IUP community. This virtual ceremony will celebrate the achievements of student leaders and student organizations. Today, through our social media platforms, MCSLE will be acknowledging these achievements through the following SGA and Fraternity and Sorority Life awards:
Outstanding Greek Senior Award - This award is presented to fraternity and sorority members who have unselfishly given of themselves during their year of undergraduate membership. Not necessarily recognized by election to office or awards, recipients of this award nonetheless are role model chapter members. Criteria for selection of the Outstanding Greek Senior Award include the following: academic achievement, contributions made to the chapter and/or the fraternity/sorority community, character and ideals exemplified through fraternity/sorority membership and ability to serve as a role model.
Distinguished Advisor - This award is given to an advisor who has shown continuous support for the student organization they advise. Nominees should demonstrate effective leadership, positive attributions to the student organization, and promote personal growth among students.
