A successful interview depends very heavily upon making a good first impression.
With the exception of your written application and your visible presence, the interviewer knows nothing about who you are or what kind of skills you have. Combine that with the fact that your interviewer has a limited amount of time to spend with you,
and it is easy to see that a good first impression is critical.
