Summer Food Drive Now Accepting Items

Posted on 6/1/22 1:23 PM

The IUP Food Pantry and Help Center is holding a campus-wide food drive to help restock its shelves in preparation for the fall semester. The food drive will run from Monday, June 6, through Friday, July 1. Donated items may be placed in boxes, labeled as “FPHC Donations,” located on the first floors inside of the Library and Elkin, Leonard, and Sutton halls.

Donations will benefit any IUP student who suffers from food insecurity or needs school supplies. Specifically, the FPHC is accepting nonperishable food items, school supplies, and umbrellas. Some examples of items that are popular amongst our students are below.

The IUP Food Pantry and Help Center would like to thank all those who plan to donate items during this summer’s food drive. Your generosity will assist our students greatly when the Pantry reopens its doors for the fall semester.

Questions can be directed to food-pantry@iup.edu or 724-357-2220.
