Gather with fellow alumni of the Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics to celebrate the professional successes of IUP’s women in the STEM fields. This is an opportunity to network and support IUP students as they aspire to obtain professions in the sciences.

Keynote speaker Linda K. Willett, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, will discuss “From Classroom to Board Room: The Evolution of a Career.” The keynote address will be followed by breakout sessions on the following topics:

  • Achieving Your Goals
  • Leadership
  • Professions in Medicine and Allied Health
  • Professions in the Military
  • Work/Family Balance

About the Keynote Speaker

Linda Sidor Willett is executive vice president, general counsel, and secretary for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, the largest health insurance company in New Jersey with almost $12 billion in revenue in 2020. She works with the company’s CEO and management team to set strategy and drive business outcomes, including transforming businesses to prosper in the face of health care and tax reform. Willett has led the teams responsible for communications, public affairs, government affairs, legal and regulatory matters, enterprise risk management, and, compliance. The Horizon BCBSNJ Foundation reports to her and focuses on charitable giving in the State of New Jersey. Willett works directly with the company’s board of directors and board committees on all aspects of corporate governance.

The Haven Project and Phi Sigma Kappa invite everyone to an It’s On Us presentation. 

The It’s On Us movement is centered around raising awareness and fighting against sexual assault on college campuses. The campaign urges everyone to step away from the sidelines and be an active part of the solution.  

Join us to learn more about the National Campaign that encourages us to be better bystanders and teaches us about power-based violence, sexual violence prevention, and more.It's on us IUP logo

Statistic: One in 5 female-identifying and one in 14 male-identifying students across the US will be sexually assaulted during their time in college. Rates are higher for students of color, LGBTQIAA students, low-income students, and students with disabilities. —itsonus.org
