The Haven Project and the Fashion Merchandising Program are partnering together to set up the What Were You Wearing Exhibit. Anonymous survivor stories from the IUP community will be on display all week in the Stapleton Library.  What Were You Wearing Campaign- Blue Hoodie and a Boot

“What were you wearing?” is an all-too-common question asked of survivors of sexual assault. This question is rooted in victim-blaming. This exhibit aims to dispel the myth that survivors provoke their assault due to how they were dressed. Stop by to experience this powerful and emotional display.

Content Warning: Stories include descriptions of gender-based personal violence, which may be upsetting to some.

Questions? Email haven-project@iup.edu

The Office of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs offers this program for IUP students. In the presentation, students will learn how to use motivational interviewing strategies to support those around them. Preregistration is required.

This is a great opportunity for any student planning on entering a “helping field.” The training will teach the art of reflective listening, as well as skills to help increase and sustain a person’s motivation for making changes in their lives.

Interested students should RSVP by April 15. Contact atod-oasis@iup.edu for more information and details.

All students are able to come out to the Student Center on campus to enjoy an evening of fun and games. Students can play games, shoot pool, watch tv, eat some food, or just chill & hang out with your friends.
