Parents and Family Member Registration

  • Enroll for Parent and Family Orientation by following the instructions below.

    During this process you will enroll and pay for orientation. 

    Please note that there will not be a parent orientation in December or January.

  • Has your son or daughter registered yet?

    If not, they’ll need to register first. You may only register for Parent and Family Orientation after your son or daughter has registered for Student Orientation. Once that is complete, you can register yourself/family members by following these steps:

    1. Click the Register for Parent/Family Orientation button.
    2. Enter your student’s last name and ID number (the number is on your student’s Orientation letter).
    3. Select the number of family members you will be registering (not including your student).
    4. Click Submit.
    5. Complete the form that appears after you have submitted, making sure to thoroughly complete sections marked with an asterisk*.
    6. If you sign up for on-campus meals or housing (summer only), you will be directed to a payment page.
    7. If no payment is necessary, you will be directed to a conformation page.

    On-campus Overnight Housing
    Summer Orientation Registrants Only

    If you are requesting optional on-campus housing, select the number of family members needing housing the night of orientation. (Note: The on-campus housing fee is an additional $35 per person. All guests must provide their own linens.)

    Parents and students are housed in different residence halls. The only people that would be in your suite are the ones that you registered to stay with you when you signed up. If you are coming alone, you will have a suite to yourself. You will have your own bathroom.

    After clicking Register and Pay, you will be directed to the payment screens. Please review your information for accuracy.  


    Student Orientation fees are included in the student’s first billing statement and do not need to be paid at the time of registration for orientation. The fee for Indiana Campus two-day freshman orientation is $255. For one-day Regional Campus or Transfer Orientations, the fee is $155.

    Parent fees related to optional on-campus meals and housing are due at registration. Parents can select to purchase meals at the time of registration for $5 per meal. If parents are attending the Parent and Family Orientation for freshman in June or July, they have the option of selecting on-campus housing for $35 per person.

    Payment Types Accepted

    We accept MasterCard, Discover, Visa, American Express, and web check. You will be able to review your payment once more and then print a receipt for your records. An e-mail receipt will be sent to the e-mail address entered on the billing screen.
