In honor of Women's History Month, MCSLE invites you to tell us about a woman who inspires you. Whether she's a favorite celebrity, historical figure, relative, friend, or professor, tell us who she is and how she's impacted your life!

From now until the end of March, write a post about her on your public instagram and tag @IUP_MCSLE and #MCSLEWomensHistoryMonth, and we'll share it on our Instagram story!

You can also send us your post on this Google form and we'll post on our Instagram!

Join the Haven Project and Alpha Xi Delta to be trained in the Green Dot Bystander Intervention Program. Learn how to become an active voice and step in when someone needs it the most. This presentation is open to any IUP student interested in attending. 

Green Dot Logo Traced-newGreen Dot equips students with information about barriers to action and realistic solutions so that fewer people will be hurt by power-based personal violence. 

If you do your small part, we can all make a difference at IUP and in our community.

Just Paws with the Therapy Dogs

Did you know that therapy dogs actually absorb the stress of humans?  Come join HWP to learn ways to reduce stress and anxiety! All are welcome.  The Therapy Dogs and various activities, as well, will be spread out throughout the space to ensure social distancing.

The Career professional Develop Center will be conducting a resume workshop in the Ebery Atrium. Members of the CPCD and Business Faculty will be available to help with resumes.

This event is in celebration of International Women’s Day, occurring March 8 every year, to celebrate achievements of women worldwide and advocate for gender parity.

Our panel of accomplished international women will join us from abroad to share unique successes and challenges for women in their countries.

Exhibit: Ned Wert, A Retrospective

This exhibition represents an outstanding 60+ year career as an artist, mentor, and educator. Paintings on display are from the artist’s personal collection and the University Museum’s permanent collection in addition to others generously on loan from private collections. The exhibit will also feature a video interview with the artist.

This exhibit is open Tuesday, January 26, through Saturday, March 20, in the University Museum, located on the first floor of Sutton Hall. The University Museum welcomes visitors during the following hours: 

2:00–5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday,

Special Saturday hours of 2:00–5:00 p.m. on March 6, 13, and 20.
