From now until the end of March, write a post about her on your public instagram and tag @IUP_MCSLE and #MCSLEWomensHistoryMonth, and we'll share it on our Instagram story!

Just Paws with the Therapy Dogs

Did you know that therapy dogs actually absorb the stress of humans?  Come join HWP to learn ways to reduce stress and anxiety! All are welcome.  The Therapy Dogs and various activities, as well, will be spread out throughout the space to ensure social distancing.

Professional Chicago dancer, Donnetta “LilBit” Jackson will tell her story of how she started, being a kid from the hood that “made it,” and how important it is to network and make connections.

Ms. Jackson performed with a dance group on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew and was a featured dancer for Chance the Rapper.

Exhibit: Ned Wert, A Retrospective

This exhibition represents an outstanding 60+ year career as an artist, mentor, and educator. Paintings on display are from the artist’s personal collection and the University Museum’s permanent collection in addition to others generously on loan from private collections. The exhibit will also feature a video interview with the artist.

This exhibit is open Tuesday, January 26, through Saturday, March 20, in the University Museum, located on the first floor of Sutton Hall. The University Museum welcomes visitors during the following hours: 

2:00–5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday,

Special Saturday hours of 2:00–5:00 p.m. on March 6, 13, and 20.
