The IUP Spring 2021 Career Fair provides an opportunity for students to explore jobs and internship opportunities in numerous fields. The fair is open to employers seeking students from any of IUP’s more than 175 academic majors and certificate programs for full-time, part-time, seasonal, and internship employment. Handshake link.

Student will get to hear from faculty and staff as they address the state of social justice in the 21st century looking at challenges and opportunities now and in the future.

Exhibit: Ned Wert, A Retrospective

University Museum, First Floor Sutton Hall

The Lively Arts

This exhibition represents an outstanding 60+ year career as an artist, mentor, and educator. Paintings on display are from the artist’s personal collection and the University Museum’s permanent collection in addition to others generously on loan from private collections. The exhibit will also feature a video interview with the artist.

This exhibit is open Tuesday, January 26, through Saturday, March 20, in the University Museum, located on the first floor of Sutton Hall. The University Museum welcomes visitors during the following hours: 

2:00–5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday,

Special Saturday hours of 2:00–5:00 p.m. on March 6, 13, and 20.

Participants will gain perspective on disabilities that can help with creating an inclusive environment in their organization or community.

Create your own Burrito Bowl Every Wednesday

In Celebration of Black History Month, MCSLE and OHRLD will be featuring Soul Food Night at North Dining Hall.  Come out and enjoy a homecooked southern style meal.  

An introduction to Python programming language will be conducted in a hands-on manner. See the department news to sign up.

This week's event will focus on famous Black musicians through the years.  Did you know that music has an impact on almost all of the components of wellness?  Join us for this event and participate in activities that will show you how music can impact your emotional, spiritual, social, and physical health. Besides some great tunes, we will also offer a variety of games, activities, and historic information.  All students are welcome!

CA Bradley Welman will give out small anti-stress kits with items like erasers, mints, and other small  individually packaged items. Lets help the residents de-stress!

Personal statements are an important component of applying to jobs, internships, or graduate schools. This workshop will help students plan and write a draft of a personal statement.

Spelling Bee Spring 2021Let’s try this again… Next up in the STATIC line-up of IUP versions of game shows… IUP SPELLING BEE!

Join STATIC as we host our IUP virtual version of the hit game show, Spelling Bee, on Wednesday, February 24, at 8:00 p.m., via Zoom! Try to spell some of the hardest words in the English language with various themed rounds!
