Parimal Bhagat is a professor in the Marketing Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Eberly College of Business and Information Technology. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses, including Marketing Strategy, New Product Design, and
Social Media Marketing. Bhagat’s research interests include relationship marketing, innovation and product design, and sustainability. He has published in a range of marketing and social science journals, including Journal of Relationship Marketing, Psychology & Marketing, and International Journal of Business Strategy. Bhagat has several years of executive-level business experience in brand management and professional sales at international firms.
With an academic career that began in India in 1983, the Marketing Department chair has taught at three other institutions prior to coming to IUP in 2006.
