    IUP Libraries chat reference service is now available during the regular reference desk hours. You can connect with one of our librarians by one of the following methods:

    Please note that librarians performing chat may also need to help other users or patrons at the reference desk.

    If chat is offline, clicking on the chat buttons will instead direct you to the Ask a Librarian service, where you can submit your question. One of our librarians will get back to you within 24 hours.

    Also, since this is a new service, we’re looking for feedback! At the end of every chat session, there is a brief survey to let us know how you felt about the experience, and we’ll give you a link to a more in-depth survey. We’d appreciate any suggestions, comments, or concerns you may have.
