Get It: Request IUP Books

You can now use the Get It – Request feature in the IUP Library Discovery Search or Library Catalog to have your books waiting for you to pick up at Stapleton Library. Here’s how to make a request:

1. Find the book(s) you need using the Discovery Search or Library catalog available on the IUP Libraries site.
2. On the book’s detailed record page, you’ll see a section labeled Get It. In that section, click on the Request link.
3. If you don’t see the Request link in that section, make sure you’re signed in.
4. After you click on the Request link, you will see the Get It Request form.  All of the fields in the request form are optional; you can simply click Request. 

5. Once you submit your request, you’ll receive a confirmation of your submission.
6. Watch your email for a notification from access-services@iup.edu that your books are ready for pick-up at the Stapleton Library. If you qualify for residential delivery and requested that option, you will instead receive a shipping notifications from ill-iup@iup.edu (you can disregard emails from access-services@iup.edu).
