  • Suites on Pratt is home for the Leadership Development living learning community.

    Leadership Development LLC LogoThe community offers students the opportunity to participate in programs and experiential learning activities designed to develop the foundational leadership skills needed in any discipline, and for students who want to hold leadership positions on campus. The acquired leadership skills will serve to complement academic experiences and ultimately help students to achieve their career aspirations.

    LLC highlights

    • This LLC challenges students to integrate leadership, knowledge, theory and experience to increase individual understanding of leadership and how it is applied in multiple contexts
    • Lead the Way provides students with numerous opportunities to develop their leadership skills and work with/meet different leadership groups on campus
    • Through these opportunities, students can learn more about the various leadership roles and positions that IUP offers, such as Residence Hall Council, Residence Hall Association, National Residence Hall Honorary, Student Government Association, Greek Life, and many other jobs, clubs, and organizations

    Clusters in this LLC

    • Leadership Development: Students involved in this cluster will have access to more hands-on leadership development experiences with the opportunity to leave their mark within both the Suites on Pratt and IUP communities
    • ROTC: This cluster allows those enrolled in IUP’s ROTC program the chance to live in the same environment and partake/facilitate in various leadership initiatives within the community
