Deciding to go back to school when you're married with two children can be a difficult decision and a struggle financially, but my wife and I felt it would be worth it in the endif it all worked out! It all working out was me being offered a very good job with a decent salary and doing something I enjoyed before, or immediately following, graduation.
I am very appreciative of all the instruction and guidance that the department gave me, and I would like to thank the entire Geography and Regional Planning faculty and staff for their support during my time at IUP. The teaching from each and every professor that I was privileged to have a class with was exceptionalI enjoyed every class thoroughly. The education I received at IUP prepared me for my current position as a GIS specialist, and put me above the competition.
I would recommend IUP's Department of Geography, Geology, Environment, and Planning to anyone!
