Geoscience Day
Our students present their capstone research each year at the end of the Spring semester.
The students work one-on-one with a faculty research advisor to develop a project of interest, acquire data in the field or lab, and after analyzing their data present their research at the IUP Scholars Forum and Geoscience Day.
These capstone projects allow our students to conduct an independent research project, taking it from proposal to conclusion over the course of a year.
