College of Education and Communications, and Instructional Design Services would
like you to join us on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, for Virtual Tech Day.
Day is designed to provide high quality,
internet-delivered, professional development that provides instructors with the
tools to deliver online, hybrid, and face-to-face instruction. All sessions will be conducted
synchronously via Zoom and will include:
Virtual Tech Day
starts with a virtual welcome at 8:30 am from Provost Tim Moerland and Chief
Information Officer Bill Balint. Following our welcome, simultaneous sessions
will be offered both in the morning and afternoon. The morning sessions start
at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at 11:00 a.m. and the afternoon sessions will start
at 1:00 p.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m.
will be recorded and posted to the Virtual Tech Day course in D2L later that
day in case you are not able to attend. The Virtual Tech Day course will include
those sessions along with other great topics such as Adobe Creative Cloud,
cybersecurity, multimedia A/V, and instructional design, to name a few.
