College Technology Day

  • The College of Education and Communications will host the 16th College Technology Day on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 (the week before the beginning of the spring semester).

College Technology Day sessions cover a broad spectrum of technology-related topics. The sessions are geared to inform and illustrate what technologies are available.

We are planning a copious series of technology-related topics for the concurrent sessions that will show what technologies are available and give you ideas on how you might use the technology.

We are pleased to host featured sessions this year by Microsoft trainers:

    • Outlook Web Access/Outlook 2016/To-Do App
    • Office 365 Productivity Tools: Sway, Forms, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
    • One-Note/One-Drive
    • Engaging Students in Blended and Online Learning

A list of detailed College Technology Day sessions is available.

The welcome address and overview will begin at 8:30 a.m. followed by the various sessions (50-minute sessions with 10-minute breaks between) starting at 9:00 a.m. All sessions will be held in classrooms and labs in Stouffer Hall. All IUP employees are invited to attend. There is no charge for attendance, and no preregistration is required. Lunch is on your own. View the agenda.
