GenCyber 2016 Photo Gallery
IUP held the first NSA/NSF-sponsored GenCyber summer camp in Pennsylvania in June 2016. Over 50 students and teacher participated in the camp and learned valuable lessons in cybersecurity practices.

PARTICIPATION ADVANTAGES
TEACHER PARTICIPATION IN THE CAMP WILL COME WITH THE FOLLOWING ADVANTAGES:
- The camp was offered at NO cost to participants
- An iPad tablet was awarded to every participants.
- Act 48 credits were given.
- Free lunch and afternoon snacks.
- Mileage reimbursement for teachers with a 10 mile or more commute.
- Multidisciplinary cybersecurity teaching knowledge, skills and modules to be used in teachers' classrooms.
STUDENT PARTICIPATION IN THE CAMP WILL COME WITH THE FOLLOWING ADVANTAGES:
- The camp was offered at NO cost to participants
- A miniature computer was awarded to every participant. A sample of the miniature computer that students were given can be accessed at Raspberry Pi.
- Free lunch and afternoon snacks.
- Instructions and mentorship from IUP faculty and other security experts.
- Valuable knowledge and skills that prepared students to pursue a very promising and growing career field
