On March 29, 2021, the IUP Academy of Culinary Arts was honored to provide a tour to Congressman Glenn "GT" Thompson of the fifteenth District of Pennsylvania.

Congressman Thompson visited the IUP Academy of Culinary Arts where he got to sample food made by students.

The successes of the students and the quality of the program made a great impression.
