Course Requirements
Course includes classroom lecture and skill sessions. Students must meet minimal physical capabilities of PA DOH. In addition to scheduled class and lab dates, students must complete NIMS 100/700 courses through free online modules. Students must also obtain an approved Hazardous Materials Awarded Certificate, available online through Pa. PSFA/Train PA. Students must be at least 16 years of age to enroll.
Preregistration
Preregistration is required. Enrollment is open until October 17, 2023. Payment will be made on IUP Marketplace.
Once you are on the IUP Marketplace page, select Emergency Medical Training, then select EMR. You will make your $400 payment electronically. Save your receipt for proof of purchase.
