Paul Hawkins is the director and executive research associate of IUP's Applied Research Laboratory.
He has been with the RI since 2022. Prior to joining the RI, he served as an assistant professor of criminology and criminal justice at the University of Northern Colorado. He earned his master's degree and PhD in criminology from IUP. He holds a bachelor's degree in crime, law, and justice from Pennsylvania State University.
Paul is committed to empowering faculty, students, administrators/staff, and the community to design, implement, and complete their research projects. He has a track record of working with stakeholders across a wide variety of disciplines to earn funding for their projects and to help share their research findings with general audiences and the scholarly community.
