The mission of the Research Institute is to advance the research agenda and educational objectives of Indiana University of Pennsylvania by encouraging, promoting, conducting, administering, and supporting research in the natural sciences, mathematics,
humanities, social sciences, education, health and human services, business, information technology, and other academic disciplines.
The IUP Research Institute is a nonprofit organization affiliated with Indiana University of Pennsylvania. This position reports to the executive director and is responsible for cultivating, developing, and administering all sponsored projects through
IUP and the IUP Research Institute. Exceptional customer service is essential for successful interaction with IUP administration, funding agencies, and researchers. Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday. Salary dependent on experience. Benefits
include paid vacation, sick and holiday time, medical insurance, and 401(k).
Candidate must possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills—both oral and written—and perform well in the interviews, ability to work independently as well as with others, and be self-motivated.
