Students seeking to enroll in the temporarily expanded SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) should apply in the state in which they are currently living and attending school. There is no minimum amount of time that someone must live in a state in order to apply for SNAP, and all they need to do is verify their residency in that state.
Under a temporary change in eligibility announced this week by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, students may qualify for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits and it would not adversely affect their financial aid package.
