About My Major: The research paper I co-authored with Dr. James Jozefowicz (Department of Economics), titled "The Effects of Immigration on Regional Unemployment Rates in The Netherlands," was recently published in the journal International Advances in Economic Research. Dr. Jozefowicz also presented our paper at the annual meeting of the International Atlantic Economic Society in Philadelphia (October 2006) while I was in Holland.
HC Impact: The Honors College supported my goals to study and work abroad throughout my college career via the Achievement Fund (for my work and studies in Belgium) and through continuous support with my preparations for the Fulbright scholarship competition (for my research and studies in the Netherlands). This financial and moral support from the CHC, accompanied with the support of the French and Economics departments at IUP, helped my dream of living and working in Europe become a reality.
