    Biography

    Dr. Sandhoff’s research interests are in military sociology, gender and sexuality, and Islam and Muslims in the U.S. She is currently working on a book about the experiences of Muslims serving in the U.S. military. Dr. Sandhoff is the coordinator of the IUP Veteran’s Reintegration Research Cluster, and serves on the Sociology Department Undergraduate Education Committee. She is also a member of the Inter-Faith Council at IUP, and is a faculty co-advisor for the Muslim Student Association and faculty advisor for Pride Alliance.
