A Women’s History of IUP

  • February 6, 2012

Leonard, McElhaney, Ackerman, and Folger are not just buildings on campus—they're also the names of women who shaped the development of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and its antecedent institutions. This one-hour session will examine the changing experience of female faculty, administrators, and students on campus from the school’s opening in 1875 through the present day.

Presented by: Dr. Theresa McDevitt, IUP Libraries
