The Paradox of Women in Islam

    Asra Nomani, a Muslim born in India who immigrated to the U.S. with her family, is a former Wall Street Journal correspondent who has written on Islam and the Middle East and has reported from the front lines on the post-9/11 conflict in Afghanistan. Today, Nomani focuses on reclaiming women’s rights in the Muslim world and acts as an activist and advocate for women worldwide.
