Beginning on October 24, ten Tibetan Buddhist monks are visiting IUP for a week. Each day, these artists will gradually create a mandala sand painting (a geometrical representation of the universe), and, on October 29, they will perform a concert of Tibetan chanting and dance. Please join Dr. Stuart Chandler to welcome the monks and to learn about the cultural significance of the week’s events.
