Mimi Benjamin, professor in the Department of Student Affairs in Higher Education, co-authored Living-Learning Communities in Practice: A Guide for Creating, Maintaining, and Sustaining Effective Programs in Higher Education, with Karen Kurotsuchi Inkelas (University of Virginia) and Jody Jessup-Anger (Marquette University).

This new book, a follow-up to their book Living-Learning Communities That Work, provides an updated Best Practices Model, based on interviews with LLC faculty and staff who utilized the original model. Also included in the book are recommendations for foundational, intermediate, and advanced elements of the Best Practices Model to aid campuses in creating or enhancing living-learning communities.
