Mimi Benjamin (left) and Angela Delfine Mechler (SAHE ’19) were recently named as recipients of the ACPA Annuit Coeptis honor for 2022.
The ACPA Annuit Coeptis Honor is presented to up to three senior professionals and five emerging professionals for significant contributions to the field of student affairs through administrative service, teaching, scholarship, and/or professional association service or leadership.
Benjamin was presented with the award for senior professional and Mechler for emerging professional.
IUP Student Affairs in Higher Education is proud to have both a professor and a recent alumna win the honor. Previous Annuit Coeptis SAHE recipients include current SAHE faculty members John Mueller and John Wesley Lowery, retired SAHE faculty member Holly Belch, and alumni Raechele Pope (SPS ’81) and Courtney Stone O’Connell (SAHE ’08).
