Mimi Benjamin, associate professor in the Student Affairs in Higher Education Department, along with Jody Jessup-Anger (Marquette University) presented on October 26 at the 2020 Virtual Residential College Symposium, hosted by the University of South Carolina.

The symposium is an annual event coordinated by the Residential College Society, which “seeks to transform higher education by providing a learning network for faculty and student affairs educators to share knowledge, build community, and advance scholarship about the residential college experience.” Find out more on the Residential College Society.

Benjamin's and Jessup-Anger's presentation, “Deepening Faculty/Student Interaction in Residential Colleges,” was based on their forthcoming book chapter on this topic and highlighted ways faculty can build and enhance relationships with students through the residential college/living-learning community structure.
