The IUP Safety Sciences department is a leader in safety research at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. We are seeking your input and/or collaboration on occupational safety, health, and environmental research topics that are valuable to private and public enterprises. This feedback will help inform our research agenda.
Since the year 2013, our students have published 25 dissertations and theses with many more in progress. Our research covers a range of areas including training, safety management systems, fire, ergonomics, environmental, human performance, industrial hygiene, performance measures, and others.
