Why Choose IUP?

Nursing students at IUP are paired with advisors who help guide them through registering for classes and give academic support through workshops, tutoring programs, and more. During a student's sophomore year, clinical experiences can be taken in town. By their junior and senior years, students have the opportunity to travel throughout Pennsylvania for these experiences.

We're located less than 60 miles from Pittsburgh, giving students a chance to experience nursing in both a college town and a major city. We also offer five programs in allied health for students who are looking for a degree in another medical-related field.
