The new student orientation experience is not a stand-alone event that prepares you for the college experience. The IUP orientation program will engage you with tasks and activities before and after attending your online program. Please read the content
below to learn how to prepare yourself for this experience. Note there are some essential tasks that need to be completed to develop your fall course schedule.

How to prepare for your orientation experience:

Freshmen, transfer students, and students attending our Northpointe and Punxsutawney campuses need to register. See the dates listed below for your program.
All incoming students are required to complete placement testing before classes can be scheduled. Sometimes students have questions related to what is required. Attending this Zoom meeting can assist you with completing the necessary placement tests in a timely fashion.

Orientation is required for all incoming students, both freshman and transfer. Along the way, you’ll learn about campus services available to you and much more. All orientations will be online.

*Attending one of these program dates will enable you to take advantage of the five-installment payment plan that includes the students’ full cost of attendance (tuition, room and board, and fees) for the fall semester. Please visit the Bursar’s website for more information about the installment payment plan options. You will want to scroll down to the Installment Payment Plan section.
