I became interested in psychology as an undergraduate after taking an introductory course and then working as a volunteer at a crisis center.
The development and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders in children, service learning with college students, and the link between spirituality and psychology
The majority of my research is in the scholarship of teaching; particularly the role of active learning in the classroom and evaluating the effects of service learning in a first year experience program.
