Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission




Interns may be place at any historic site located throughout Pennsylvania. This includes 4 adminstrative units in Harrisbug, the PA State Archives, The State Museum of Pennsylvanis, the state historic presevations program, and an internal management bureau.


To provide students with opportuiites to work with museums, archives, preservation, and history professionals and allow them to explore career options. They will partake in a variety of projects and tasks in a variety of settings and apply classroom learning to real life.


Applicants must:

  • Be enrolled at an accredited college or university
  • Be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student during spring 2003 semester
  • Plan to return to school for the fall 2003 semester
  • Be permanent residents of Pennsylvania and/or attend a Pennsylvania college or university.
