Students seeking to retake the math placement exam may do so in the month of July. The Office of New Student Orientation and the Mathematics Department will facilitate the retesting. Registration for this opportunity will open on July 1. All students will be required to do the following to be eligible to retest:
On-campus testing dates are Thursday, July 12, and Saturday, July 14, and will take place in Stabley 102.
Online testing dates will be offered July 13, July 20, and July 27. Students electing an online option will be responsible for downloading and installing a remote proctoring software prior to the test. The software is Lockdown/Respondus and the student is responsible for the $5 fee. Please use the following link to find information regarding system requirements for downloading the Lockdown software.
The math retest requires the use of LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor for online exams. The webcam can be built into your computer or can be the type that plugs in with a USB cable. Watch this short video to get a basic understanding of LockDown Browser and the Respondus Monitor features.
When taking an online exam that requires LockDown Browser and the Respondus Monitor software, remember the following guidelines:
