Psychology Colloquium Addresses Behavioral Observation and Parent-Child Interactions

Timothy Thornberry of the University of Oklahoma will present “‘Why Don’t You Act Like This at Home?!’ — Behavior Observation, Reactivity, and Implications for Primary Care Psychology” on February 3 at 4:00 p.m. in Uhler Hall, Room 113. 

Thornberry obtained his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Auburn University. He is currently completing a postdoctoral training program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He is extensively trained in parent-child interaction therapy, and his research program addresses effective parenting. Thornberry is also very interested in issues of primary care, such as obesity, medical adherence, sleep, mood disorders, and disruptive behaviors, particularly in the pediatric population.

Thornberry is a candidate for a faculty position in Psychology.
