The third candidate for the dean of Libraries position, Matthew Simon, will interview on campus June 14 and 15, 2010.
Simon will give a thirty-minute presentation titled “The Twenty-First-Century Library at a Doctoral Research University,” with a sixty-minute question-and-answer session.
The presentation will take place from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 14, in Room 201 of the library. This presentation is open to all IUP faculty, staff, and students.
There will also be an open forum with Simon on Tuesday, June 15, from 11:10 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. in Room 210 of the library. This forum is open to all IUP faculty and staff.
The fourth and final candidate will interview June 16 and 17. More details will follow in the near future on the final candidate.
