Dr. John Wesley Lowery, associate professor of Student Affairs in Higher Education, presented a featured session at the Association for Student Conduct Administration’s recent annual conference.
Dr. Lowery’s presentation, which reviews the legislative and regulatory developments of the previous year impacting student conduct administration in higher education, has become a tradition at the conference over the past decade.
The conference offers three featured presentations which are presented to all conference participants. Dr. Lowery also participated in a panel discussion with Fred Gray, St. John Dixon, and James McFadden, who were all involved in the February 1960 sit-ins in Montgomery, Alabama, and the resulting lawsuit after the student demonstrators were expelled from Alabama State College by the state.
