All stakeholders of the IUP Speech-Language Pathology program are invited to attend our Virtual Public Meeting on Thursday, November 5, from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m. via Zoom.

Our master's degree program in speech-language pathology is being reviewed for reaccreditation by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. If you have an interest in the program—that is, if you are a student, alumni, clinical supervisor, internship supervisor, employer, current or former clinic patient or family, or community member—we welcome you to attend.

RSVP to Program Director Lisa Price (lprice@iup.edu). Please provide your name, email, and phone number. Zoom links and access information will be sent to you by the site visit team a few days before the meeting date.

If you cannot attend, but wish to submit written comments, you can find directions in the accreditation handbook on pages 64-66. Comments must be received by October 21, 2020, and they must:

  • Relate to the program's compliance with the published standards. Standards for accreditation can be downloaded here.
  • Identify the program seeking accreditation (IUP Masters in SLP; CAA #211).

A flyer with meeting details can be found here.

Thank you to our community for engaging in this process with us!
