Smith-Sherwood Presents Multi-Institutional Research on Faculty Experience of Capstones

Dawn Smith-Sherwood, Department of Foreign Languages (Spanish), presented the poster “Faculty Perception of the Capstone Experience: Motivation, Influence, Support” at the 2019 POD (Professional and Organizational Development) Network in Higher Education Conference, held November 13-17 in Pittsburgh.

Smith-Sherwood and co-presenters Caroline Boswell (University of Wisconsin—Green Bay) and Morgan Gresham (University of South Florida—St. Petersburg) are members of the Elon University Center for Engaged Learning (CEL) 2018–20 Research Seminar on Capstone Experiences. The “Faculty Experience of Capstones” research team also includes Olivia Anderson (University of Michigan) and Matthew Laye (College of Idaho).
