Todd Nathan Thompson, professor of English, completed at two-week residency over the summer as a 2019 Quarry Farm Fellow in Elmira, New York. Thompson also gave a lecture, titled “‘Views of Mark Twain’: Antics and Annexation in Twain’s New York Tribune
Letters,” as part of the Center for Mark Twain Studies’ “Trouble Begins...” lecture series.
Quarry Farm was Twain’s summer home for over 20 years and the place where he wrote some of his most famous works. A description of the fellowship project and list of other fellows,
