Register Today for a Summer Pottery and Ceramics Class

The Office of Extended Studies is offering a noncredit course, Pottery and Ceramics, beginning Thursday, June 6, 2019.

Pottery and Ceramics is open to beginning through advanced level students and will explore wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery. Using mid-fire materials and techniques, students will have the opportunity to make utilitarian and non-utilitarian ceramic objects. Register Today!


  • Water bucket, two quarts or bigger
  • Towel
  • Basic throwing tools; sets available at IUP Co-Op Store or online
  • Premixed clay can be purchased through the IUP Co-Op Store


Eight Thursdays: June 6, 13, 20, 27; July 11, 18, 25; August 1 (No class on the 4th of July.)
