A train-the-trainer opportunity, presented by Libby Roderick, will be held the week of May 20–24, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the HUB Ohio Room. Attendance for all five days is optimal; however, participants are asked to attend at least three
of the five days. Lunch will be provided each day, and there is no fee to attend. Registration is required and may be done by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is a culminating workshop on “Difficult
Dialogues” for those who attended either of the previous two-day training's held this year. However, anyone interested in this opportunity is encouraged to register.
Roderick will revisit previously addressed topics for those who are new participants, which will also refresh strategies for those who are returning. The workshop is open to all staff, faculty, and administrators.
This workshop is designed to equip you to share your knowledge with other members of the IUP community and is based upon the publication Start Talking: A Handbook for Engaging Difficult Dialogues in Higher Education. This resource is now available
in the IUP Libraries.
