Graduate Business Student Association Holds Officer Elections

Graduate Business Student Association Meeting Attendees Recently, an informational meeting about the Graduate Business Student Association was held to provide an overview of the organization to MBA students. John Lipinski, MBA Program coordinator and GBSA advisor, talked about what GBSA has done in the past and possibilities for the future as well as providing information about officer positions and elections for the 2018–19 academic year. Officer nominations were opened so elections could be held at the first regular meeting.

September 26, 2018, was GBSA’s first meeting of the semester. The officer nomination list was shared with the members in attendance, and elections were held. Elected for 2018–19 are:

  • President, Yash Agarwal
  • Vice President, Liam Carlin
  • Secretary, Lamia Dawood (Galal)
  • Treasurer, Chris Zele
  • PR Director, Chris Behm

Many exciting activities are being planned, including company tours, guest speakers, and networking events. The officers encourage all MBA students to attend the next GBSA meeting on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, 5:00–6:00 p.m. in Eberly 309 to find out more.
