The IUP Art Faculty Triennial Exhibition opens the University Museum 2018–19 season and will run September 8–October 27, 2018.
Triennial 2018 features works by Sean Derry, Tony DiMauro, Ivan Fortushniak, Lilly Handley, BA Harrington, Nathan Heuer, Sharon Massey, Susan Palmisano, Bob Sweeny, Kevin Turner, and Rhonda Yeager. The exhibit also includes works from the private collections
of art historians Irene Kabala, Hye-Ri Oh, and Brenda Mitchell and examples of activities from Marissa Sweeney’s art education initiatives.
Artistic mediums on display include sculpture, graphic design, painting, mixed media, woodworking/furniture, drawing, jewelry, and metals. David Ferguson, interim dean of the College of Fine Arts. states that “…the excellent work
in this show demonstrates the high level of artistry and scholarship that we come to expect from our faculty at IUP.”
The University Museum is located on the first floor of Sutton Hall. A public reception is scheduled for Saturday, September 8, from 6:00 until 8:30 p.m. Admission to the opening reception and exhibit is free.
Museum hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 2:00–6:30 p.m.; Thursday noon–7:30 p.m.; and Saturday noon–4:00 p.m. The museum is closed Sunday, Monday, and university holidays. For more information, telephone 724-357-2530, visit us online at the
